          It may seem somewhat strange, but it is used by many people today. We have RentAFriend.com, RentALocalFriend.com, and RentACyberFriend.com, among many others. The way they work is the person who is looking to rent a friend pays a small fee (in the case of RentAFriend.com) to view listings, and then can rent a friend for a variety of activities, for different pricings, depending on who they choose. These listings are comprised of people who sign up to be friends, and to do so is not very difficult, and is also free most of the time. If you don't feel like renting your parking space or your rooms, why not rent out your friendship? It's a nice, simple, yet unusual way to make some money, and also enjoy the time (hopefully).

          So far there's been no mention of how much you can get off this, and what kind of activities you'd be doing. Before talking about earnings, here's some common activities that people do on this site. Some people rent one to show them around town, some go to the movies or to a restaurant, some do a sort of tutoring, having that friend teach them a certain skill (could be very useful and cheaper than regular tutors), and others just spend time as friends, doing whatever they feel like. It's a great way to enjoy time and make money, but it certainly is not the best way to be socializing, nor the natural way, so it isn't recommended to do these things too often.

Of course, you could have a job and probably do, but you could still make quite a good sum of money just off a little, such as $30/hour for a day a week, like a Saturday, for 8 hours. That's $240 * 52 = $12,480 a year for only one day a week! Imagine what you could earn if you did this along with other strategies or did this full-time!
