Swagbucks.com: Why you Should/Shouldn't use it (Detailed Review)

One of the more common earning websites used is Swagbucks.com:

Swagbucks is a very nice website for making money off doing surveys, trying products, watching videos, or playing games. This is personally one of my favorite sites due to its convenience and the large number of ways there are to earn. The currency used, hence the name of the site, is called a Swagbuck. Each swagbuck is equivalent to approximately 1¢ or $0.01 USD. Certain prizes can be cashed out at the ratio of 1 swagbuck to 1¢, but there are some that have higher value per swagbuck, which is mentioned in the strategies for this site. Payout relative to Time Spent:  7/10 (★★★★★★★✰✰✰)

Daily Bonus (Not always 8 SB)
In comparison to other websites and apps for earning money, Swagbucks is certainly one of the more profitable websites, assuming you spend a decent amount of time. There are methods where one may spend minimal time, but those, such as Swagbucks TV, do not pay out nearly as much as surveys or paid offers, making spending time somewhat necessary to make more money. Free offers, on average, pay out anywhere from 1 SB (for viewing the page) to a few hundred SB. Most that only require simple things such as clicking or watching a video reward 1 or 2 Swagbucks, so surveys are really the way to go for bigger earnings. Swagbucks also rewards a bonus of about 9 Swagbucks (~$0.09) for earning around 80 Swagbucks in a day (~$0.89 total). It is not terribly difficult to earn a lot in the website, and it suggests surveys that could work, and also has a front page with a wide range of offers to do, so little time is wasted looking for an offer. I once earned 500 Swagbucks for an offer that took less than 10 minutes which only involved a short survey and downloading an app. The morale of the story here is that although not everything pays well, you're bound to make a good amount of money as long as you stay consistent. So far, I have only mentioned free offers. Paid offers, on the other hand, range from about 5 Swagbucks per $1 spent to 14,000 Swagbucks ($140)! These offers can make big Swagbucks, but will also cost you quite some money (in some cases). You can also print coupons and redeem them for 10 Swagbucks, so that is an easy method for a few more of those Swagbucks. Overall, it pays well, but can take time, earning Swagbucks.com a 7/10.

Convenience:  8/10 (★★★★★★★★✰✰)

Home Page
Swagbucks is a very convenient place to earn money, with many options for filtering offers, and a nicely formatted home page, as well as easy navigation to offers. There are apps for it on the App Store and Google Play, so you can earn money on the go as well. The only setback is that when sorting offers, the options are not very extensive and are fairly general, so sorting out free vs. paid offers is not very easy, giving it an 8/10.

Variety:  10/10 (★★★★★★★★★★)

Peanut Labs Offers
Although some methods and offers are fairly time consuming, there is no lack of them, between free and paid, or between different providers such as Peanut Labs. You can also watch Swagbucks TV, and they even give out swag codes which can be redeemed for swagbucks, and those can be found on their Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, Blog, etc. You can even earn Swagbucks just for searching the web! The massive amount of ways to earn Swagbucks earns it a 10/10 for variety.

Demands/Requirements:  7/10 (★★★★★★★✰✰✰)

Swagbucks TV
There are minimal requirements on the user or on the device used, except for the fact that surveys can be difficult to qualify depending on your profile. However, there is a certain limit for watching Swagbucks TV or for some of their offers. Swagbucks TV can often be fairly slow due to the loading of new webpages and the videos, for an older computer. Surveys can also be slow if you have slow internet since most load a new page for each question. Due to the setbacks from slow internet or a weaker computer, Swagbucks gets a 7/10 for Demands/Requirements.

Overall Rating:  8/10 (★★★★★★★★✰✰)

Swagbucks
Overall, Swagbucks is a nice unique website where one can easily make some quick money, free or paid, with many ways to make money, earning itself an 8/10 for an overall rating, agreeing with the average of the ratings in the 4 categories. And yes, it is worth the time on this site.

  1. I love swagbucks! I find it both an active and a passive income. The questionnaires are good fun and can be interesting. I do quite a few off the Peanut Labs list. I ignore Global Test when that comes up as I don't like them or trust I'll get paid. I like it how you often get a 1SB point if you don't qualify in many instances. I do the daily poll. The videos are a good earner for me, as is the app on my phone. I play the jump game a bit for a few more points. For me I'd say it's worth £10 a month, ie going at it a bit, but not to the extent that it takes over. I don't think it's worth turning it into a late night, just playing videos to reach your bonus though lol. But having a personal target of £10 either in a voucher or PayPal a month is a realistic one for me. It must be unique, you're right about that!

    1. I agree, Swagbucks is a nice way to make money, but definitely shouldn't spend too much time on it, plus it has a pretty good amount of easy ways to make money. You seem to use similar methods that I do, I also do pretty much all that except for the swag jump; I never bothered with it since I didn't know how much I could really get with it. I've been trying to get the daily goals with one survey a day, but it's difficult, because I don't have all that much time. I try my best though and without spending too much time I've saved up almost $20 by now. I sincerely appreciate your support!
