Google Opinion Rewards: Should You Use It? (Detailed Review; Mobile App)

It's Find Free Funds Friday! This one is different; it's actually on a mobile app, Google Opinion Rewards! Here it is!

          Google Opinion Rewards is as the title states: you get rewarded for giving your opinion. Now the question is, how much can it reward? It's pretty much like the online survey sites, since you answer surveys. The vast majority will pay around 20 cents each, with the exception of your first one, which will start you off with $1. The big issue (at least for me and anyone who doesn't intend to buy an app on Google Play) is that they pay out in Google Play Credits. These can only be spent in Google Play for purchases, and cannot be withdrawn otherwise. The only possibility is purchasing something and then withdrawing through an app, but to the best of my knowledge there are none that can do that easily. Payout relative to Time Spent:  6/10 (★★★★★★✰✰✰✰)

          This one is not easy to judge; there are many factors coming into play here. This money can be spent only on Google Play, but it's not too bad; as long as you have anything in mind to buy whether it's in-app purchase or an app itself, you should be okay. The payout is pretty good, considering the surveys can be very very quick. However, getting a survey can take quite a while, but strictly considering payout vs. time spent, it'd be actually very good. Overall it gets a 6/10 for Payout vs. Time Spent.

Convenience:  10/10 (★★★★★★★★★★)

          There is absolutely no difficulty in using the app, it's straightforward, easy to use, and no glitches or errors that some other sites have (Slicethepie, for instance). You can choose to get notifications when a survey is available, and it does not waste your battery. For these reasons, Google Opinion Rewards gets an easy 10/10 for Convenience.

Variety:  4/10 (★★★★✰✰✰✰✰✰)

          The only way to earn is off surveys, so not much variety there. There are different types of surveys though, but it's not all that much either. However, the rewards have a big range of what to get; you can spend it on anything in Google Play, which is a big store. Because of this, Google Opinion Rewards gets a 4/10 for Variety.

Demands/Requirements:  7/10 (★★★★★★★✰✰✰)

          Practically any phone, as long as it's Android or runs on it (Google Play), can run this app with no difficulty. No requirements on the phone aside from being Android, and does not use much memory, so the only downside is that it's restricted to Android. Because of that, Google Opinion Rewards gets a 7/10 for Demands/Requirements. 

Overall Rating:  7/10 (★★★★★★★✰✰✰)

          The overall rating for Google Opinion Rewards is a 7/10, slightly over the average of the four categories (6.75/10) just because it's a very easy and nice way to make side money, with no disqualifications because they send you what they need, not everything that might not be suitable. Overall this app is convenient and at the end of the day, won't absorb more than maybe 3 minutes per day or even less.
